A True Bipartisan Simulus

Well it's clear to me the bipartisanship President Obama promised us has been thrown out the window. So much for change, it looks like it's just more of the same in Washington.

Since President Obama feels so threatened by the likes of non-politicians like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, let's look at this Bipartisan Stimulus package that Rush proposed. I promise, it's an interesting take on stimulating the economy, one that's hard to disagree with and a true compromise:

My Bipartisan Stimulus
Let's cut taxes, as I want, and spend more, as Obama would like.

Why not read the followup by Carville here,

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/02/01/carville.rush.limbaugh/

It makes some great points... especially this,

"Why surely it seems like just yesterday that Al Gore won the national popular vote in 2000 (and arguably won the popular vote in Florida too).

Limbaugh must have called for the incoming Bush administration to allocate ideas based on the proportion of election returns. I'm sure President Bush and the Republicans in Congress graciously accepted their 49.5 percent share of everything. (Note: We would be much better off right now had this actually happened.)"

Yeah, but you won't hear any of that!

You're living in the past Drew. Let's get over the 2000 election already and deal with the here and now.

Yeah, you want your cake and eat it too...

I am over the 2000 election, but Carville has a valid point... Could you imagine the howls of laughter if the Democrats had come up with a response similar to Rush's in 2001?

Rush is out of touch, he is someone who has no credibility (do as I say, not as I do... Oxycontins are GREAT!) and I would think that you would be above his ignorant rhetoric... but alas, I guess you are not!
